Peachy To think Hawaiian heritage could inspire something so badass - isn't all that surprising, actually! This is great, unique, meaningful, and memorable stuff! Favorite track: The Conqueror King.

morbidlobster Awesome death metal with a Hawaiian legend lyrical theme. In my opinion, it's an amazing blend of early to middle era Hypocrisy with brutal yet melodic riffs crossed with the sound of riffs influenced by Slayer in their prime years. The vocals are great. Great low growls mixed with insanely amazing highs. Overall, it was a fantastic job!🤘

The kahuna prophesied As kokoiki lit the the skies A great king would be born The hunter of chiefs He would reign supreme Over all the islands The mana of the gods Flipped through his veins His name will be remembered For centuries He is Kamehameha The conqueror king He is a skilled warrior His enemies fled in fear He was there for first contact He foresaw his world changing The only way to survive is to unify The mana of the gods Flipped through his veins His name will be remembered For centuries He is Kamehameha The conqueror king Nothing will stand in his way Of total domination One by one The rest will fall He is the conqueror He is Kamehameha The mana of the gods Flipped through his veins His name will be remembered For centuries He is Kamehameha The conqueror king

From Maui we returned Greeted with war Keoua forces stood strong We hit them hard Through canon and spear I shall conquer Hawai’i shall be mine We push Keoua back To the ash fields of Kiluea Where Pele unleashes Her fiery wrath Through cannon and spear I shall conquer Hawaii shall be mine Kahekili invades from the west We met them on the seas We sent his fleet to the depths The survivors retreat in terror As we unleash the fury Of the red mouthed gun Keoua and his men arrived At Pu’uokala heiau They were executed Sacrificed to Kukailimoku By cannon and spear I shall conquer Hawaii shall be mine

Blood moon rises storms appear Conch shell sounds drums pound Voices chanting gleaming torches Across ancient battlefields they’re found Huaka’i Po Night Marchers Lie still face down on the ground Never meet their gaze Or you’ll die violently Then March for eternity Huaka’i Po Night Marchers Kane Lono Ku Kanaloa Sacred nights when they rise Ancient Hawaiian warriors Marching for eternity Huaka’i Po Night Marchers

We saw two ships Circling our land White sails glistening In the sun As the entered Kealakekua Bay Some of us thought Lono returned Some of us knew They were just men Who are these strange men Where did they come from Is this the beginning of an invasion Is this the end of our way of life When they first Came ashore They were treated With respect It was the season Of Makahiki The foreigners started Acting like oppressors Then they desecrated An ancient burial ground Who are these strange men Where did they come from Is this the beginning of an invasion Is this the end of our way of life Within a month they returned Their ship damaged from the storms This time we weren’t bound to peace It was the season of Kukailimoku They tried to kidnap Kalaniopu’u A fight broke out Captain Cook lies dead They returned to their ships and fled The only mistake we made We didn’t kill them all We should’ve killed them all

about

KA'AI Lincoln, Nebraska

Ka’ai is my way of sharing stories of Hawaiian history. As well as the legends of Hawai’i. I found Hawaiian Black Metal. But I couldn’t find Hawaiian Death Metal. So I decided to do it myself. It all started when I released my song Night Marchers on YouTube. I plan on releasing more music throughout 2024, and beyond ... more
